Welcome to Puppy Up Studios!
Backpacking 4,000 miles cross country after losing two dogs to cancer, I had a ton of time in our tent to think and ideate and this is the brainchild of all of those many lonely (well, I had the Notorious Fuzzybutts snuggled up to me) nites. It's evolving and may seem a little all over the map but there's method to this madness! More on the story of our adventures here.
Puppy Up Studios Is
An Idea Lab. I'll be launching 1-2 new companies soon and their genesis of the Studios and relevance to the Foundation and the community of companion cancer, will become more apparent in the coming weeks as I have an ambitious plan for 2018!
A Clearer Path. While the mission of the Foundation has always been education, awareness and scientific discovery, we've learned and grown a lot the past few years. And it's important that all of our supporters, sponsors - stakeholders understand how we envision our value within the comparative oncology community, our future plans and how we intend to get there. We hope to accomplish this here at the Puppy Up Studios.
A Shorter Path. From Problem to Solution. My experiences and observations from technology industry is their constant drive to both shorten and accelerate cycle times. From now on, my email is Solutions@PuppyUp.org. Every single email will be read by me personally and we will work with anyone who has the intent and will and spirit to help us accomplish our mission!
3. An Open Source Road Map. I've always believed in collaboration but I've sat on enough committees to know that it's almost always one or two people doing the driving. But what I really hope to accomplish here is more collective ideation and at least a general understanding of where we're going.
At least, that's the pie-in-the-sky vision for it but as I mentioned before, this is a fluid process. And I want to keep it this way for now as it gives us greater ability to adapt, an instinct essential to survival on the road!
